About me

My interests:  I love reading - that much is obvious from the title of this blog :) I also love drawing, painting, and colouring those 'adult' colouring books, so there may be a few arty posts every now and then. I am always going camping with my family, (only in the summer though, it's WAY too cold in winter!)

The kind of books I read: I mostly only read YA fiction, although I sometimes read kids or adult books, it kind of depends on what I feel like reading at the time. I don't really have a particular genre i'm into, however I know that i'm not interested in historical fiction, crime, or mystery, but i am willing to try them out.

Favourite books: My favourite book series of all time is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, even though I originally never wanted to read them! I also love:

• The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare

• Every Day by David Levithan

• Gone by Michael Grant

• The Finisher by David Baldacci

• The Spiderwick chronicles by Tony Diterlizzi and Holly Black

*(Even the last book, that everyone seems to hate- but yes, the ending all but put me into a coma for weeks afterwards...) 

Favourite films: I love Disney films! Some of my favourites are Lilo & Stitch, Frozen, Despicable me, Prom, and Tangled. I also really like book to movie adaptations, such as The Hunger Games, Divergent, The Maze Runner, and The Giver.

More about me: I live in the UK, and I am currently in the last year of secondary school, and therefore revising for my GCSE's (sometimes- I know, I know, but finding the motivation isn't as easy as it looks, okay?!) For my options, I took German, history, catering, and art, and i hope to do A levels in fine art, photography, English literature, and Philosophy in college.
